Hi, my name is Pastor Mark. I am the newest member of Crossroad's staff.  I am the lead Pastor and have been since August 2016. After attending Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO I began ministering in Leighton, IA.  Ten plus years later God said "Des Moines is where you ought to be" so I moved my family up to Urbandale. Urbandale that is -- swimming pools and movie stars, well something like that.  Cara and I have three girls and a boy and we love this congregation! 

Hi, my name is Winnie Rye and I am the church secretary.  I have been at this job for three years, but have been a member of Crossroads for about 30 years.  What do I love about our church?  The people!  It is a church family with many different members and personalities, who all come to worship our King and fellowship with others of like mind.  I worship here every week, and I work here daily.  Come and join us at Crossroads!  There really is a place for you here. 

Hi, my name is Amy Thacker. I am the AWANA Coordinator for our church. My husband is Shawn Thacker and we have 4 kids who attend Des Moines Christian School. They are between the ages of 14 and 8. Beyond AWANA, I am a Senior Project Manager for ITA Group and have worked there for almost 18 years. When I've got extra time, I enjoy taking walks with my dog Benny, watching movies, riding bikes, watching my kids play sports, date night with Shawn or just sitting on my deck or around the bonfire in the evenings. AWANA is successful at our church because of our amazing parents and volunteers. I'm thankful every day for the continued support from our church family.
